About us
evonitec is an engineering and consulting company with a lean structure: administration is kept to what is necessary, which shows directly in the price. You have one contact who is technically accountable for your project — and who knows the questions because he has worked on comparable tasks himself.
The company
evonitec combines solid engineering experience with hands-on project delivery. We support technology companies in project management, concept and system development, test and software engineering, and sector-specific AI consulting (vertical AI consulting) — from automation and LLM/RAG strategy through to scoping and rollout. What holds in semiconductor manufacturing is not the same in mechanical engineering; the fit to the sector is part of the answer.
Since 2017 evonitec GmbH has supported technical projects in electronics, semiconductors, radar sensing and test & measurement — as project management and in concept and system development. In the semiconductor field this mostly meant test methods for the characterisation and qualification of new products, ATE-based production test at wafer and packaged-device level, and the corresponding test adaptation.
The current focus is on making AI usable in development, production and quality assurance — held to the same standard of traceability that applies in those environments anyway.
What clients look for is rarely just an extra pair of hands. It is someone who brings a complex task to completion, improves a way of working that has become entrenched, or steers a project through difficult terrain — with decisions that can still be justified later.
evonitec is led by Thomas Rueckschloss. The technical basis of the company is 25 years of professional experience in test & measurement, semiconductors, mobile communications and radar. The stations below give an overview of that.

Career
Dipl.-Ing. (FH) in electrical and communications engineering, Munich University of Applied Sciences. MBA International Management, Euro-FH Hamburg. Managing director and acting consultant of evonitec GmbH.
Project management, concept and system development and AI adoption in radar sensing, mobile communications, semiconductors and test engineering with an ATE focus. This is the frame the work happens in today.
Wireless platform solutions, cellular connectivity, energy-efficient applications for connected devices.
Taking on an area of responsibility in the mobile segment that moved to Intel as part of the carve-out.
Semiconductor test (ATE), mobile communications, test & measurement, system architecture, business consulting.
Mobile communications, product development, test & measurement, system architecture.
Mobile test & measurement, system architecture. After several mergers the company trades today as Viavi Solutions.
What you can rely on
With KEEL the way of working is set down in writing. What was decided and what it was based on can still be followed if someone else takes the topic over later.
Without adding headcount, with a clearly bounded scope and a defined end. Useful exactly when project pressure is high but no new position can be created or filled.
Where trade secrets, customer IP or personal data are involved, the data path is decided first — not the model.
Classic engineering service providers have the technical depth but seldom a grip on the data that comes with it. AI consultancies have the methods but usually know development, manufacturing and test workflows only from the outside. Vendors' own application and development teams can do both, but are tied to their platform and are often unavailable. That combination — technical depth, making sense of the data, and project leadership, without platform ties — is what evonitec offers.
On references: assignments in the environment of large semiconductor manufacturers and with companies in sensor and radar technology are subject to non-disclosure agreements. A short message is enough. No obligation — by phone just as well.
