Scope of processing

This website is deliberately data-minimal. It contains no contact forms, no advertising networks and no external fonts, it sets no cookies, and it embeds no analytics or tracking tool that runs in your browser. The hosting provider evaluates the server logs that arise in any case, on the server side, to produce an aggregated access statistic; how that works is set out below under “Access statistics”.

Server log files

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing device, time of the server request and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in the technically error-free provision of the website.

Under the data processing agreement concluded with the hosting provider, log files about visitors to this website are stored for no more than seven days and deleted thereafter. If we retrieve log files in an individual case in order to narrow down a technical fault, we delete them immediately once the matter is resolved.

Access statistics

From the server log files described above, the hosting provider produces an aggregated access statistic — for example how often a page was called up and which website visitors came from. We look at this statistic in order to see which content is being used. No additional data is collected for it: no cookie is set, no script is run in your browser, and nothing is stored on or read from your device. Consent is therefore not required. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in a needs-based design of the website. You may object to this processing under Art. 21 GDPR.

The seven-day period applies to the log files, not to the statistic produced from them: the log files contain personal data and are deleted after no more than seven days. The statistic itself is aggregated, contains no IP addresses and remains available as an evaluation; it does not allow us to draw conclusions about individual persons.

Hosting

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Strasse 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place.

Contact by email or phone

If you contact us, your details are stored in order to process the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for that purpose and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

Applications provided

The applications offered on this website process the files you open exclusively locally in your browser. There is no transfer to a server, no content is stored and no analysis results are transmitted. No third-party services or AI interfaces are called.

AI readiness check. The AI readiness check offered on this website runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are neither transmitted to a server nor stored; the evaluation is rule-based and calls no AI interface. The button "Take the result by email" transmits nothing: it merely opens a prepared message in your own mail program, containing your answers as text. You alone decide on the recipient, the content and whether to send it. If you send that message to us, the section "Contact by email or phone" applies to any further processing.

Availability of content and applications

The content, applications and self-assessments on this website — among them the AI readiness check, the STDF analyzer and the ATE configuration and interface advisor — are provided free of charge and without any claim to availability. They may be changed, restricted or removed at any time without notice. As no data is stored, this gives rise to no claim to the release or restoration of results. If you want to keep a result, please keep it yourself.
